To the Honorable Governor Deval Patrick and Senators,

The recent decision by the state of Massachusetts to revoke the rights of undocumented aliens to Insure and Register vehicles in this state has the Immigrant community and local Businesses very concerned. The new law will escalate financial burdens on the states, and create an ever-more intrusive and complex federal regulatory mechanism aimed at the states, resulting in the slow erosion of the liberties which the federal-state relationship was designed to protect.

We, the undersigned, represent a broad coalition of traditional and economic conservatives, libertarians, pro-family and pro-life organizations and concerned citizens from across the country. We are writing you to re consider this law which will create tremendous economic, social, and emotional impact on our society.

This law will economically affect the State of Massachusetts in a very negative and unforeseen way at this point. Local businesses will close its doors, leading to a higher rate of un-employment for the State. Many Families will be directly affected by this drastic measure.

Specifically, we are asking you to implement a Law that will help in the effort to repeal the current law and to enact, in its place, a law that will create a fairer and more reasonable method for the current issue faced.

We the undersigned are not fighting against what's right and fair. We are pro-active in resolving all and any issues that may involve all different communities. We are simple asking for different avenues to resolve the current undocumented alien issues currently faced by this State.

We the undersign thank you for the opportunity to review this request, and we are willing to assist in any way we can.

Sincerely,

Sue O'Brien- OBTS Community Services- 781-629-2603
